Baking bread isn’t difficult, but many people are still afraid to try their hand at homemade bread. But you don’t have to, because even discount supermarkets have baking stations these days. But the joy of taking a homemade loaf of bread out of the oven is simply unbeatable. That’s why we’ll show you how to bake an oatmeal quark bread without any effort or previous knowledge.
Gluten-Free Oatmeal Quark Bread
People with gluten intolerance will especially love this oatmeal quark bread. You don’t need any flour for baking. However, when shopping, those affected should make sure to choose gluten-free rolled oats.
Although oats are naturally gluten-free, meaning they don’t contain wheat protein, contamination can occur during cultivation, as oats are often grown near wheat. If you want to or have to be on the safe side, look for a specially labeled gluten-free product at the supermarket.
And then you can get started: For the oatmeal quark bread, you first need to mix tender and rolled oats with salt and baking powder. Separately, mix two eggs with quark. Finally, all the ingredients are combined, blended into a smooth dough, and baked in the oven for 50 to 60 minutes to make a delicious oatmeal quark bread.
This fitness bread provides you with plenty of protein, which is found in the quark. This helps with muscle building and keeps you full for a long time. One or two slices of oatmeal quark bread are therefore the perfect breakfast for athletes. In addition, the calcium contained in quark strengthens bones. Another plus: Quark is low in fat.
