13 x 9-inch pan
Beer crate
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 cups milk 3 1/4 cups and 3/4 cup, separated
- 5 oz milk chocolate chopped
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 6 tbsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 16 oz dark chocolate chopped
- 3/4 stick butter
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 20 chocolate-covered marshmallows
- 20 clean bottle caps
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture. Add the beer and vegetable oil and mix until incorporated. Grease the baking pan, pour in the batter, and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
Heat 3 1/4 cups milk and add the chocolate and sugar. Now combine the rest of the milk with the corn starch and stir in the cocoa powder. Add this mixture to the simmering chocolate milk and let it come to a boil until it thickens and turns into pudding.
Pour the chocolate pudding over the cake in the pan.
To make the chocolate glaze, add the dark chocolate, butter, and coconut oil to a pot and let everything melt over low heat.
Pour the chocolate glaze on top of the pudding in the pan and spread evenly.
Press the chocolate-covered marshmallows into the glaze. There should be 20 marshmallows altogether in 5 rows of 4.
Put the pan in the beer crate and place a clean bottle cap on each of the marshmallows. Now it looks like there are actual bottles of beer in the crate.
