Stuffed Pepper Rings with Ground Beef

Ingredients
  

  • 2 peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 3/4 cup parmesan
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions
 

  • Wash the peppers and cut them into four thick rings. Remove the seeds, and dice the leftover pepper.
  • In a large bowl, add the ground beef, diced pepper, spices, garlic, breadcrumbs, and parmesan, and mix well. Transfer the mixture evenly to the pepper rings, filling them.
  • Heat a bit of vegetable oil in a pan, and fry the stuffed peppers on both sides.
  • Place the peppers on a baking tray, and add tomato sauce and grated cheese to the top of each. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 300 °F.
