Nutella-Banana Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ cup chocolate sprinkles
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • cup Nutella

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a muffin tin or line it with paper baking cups.
  • Peel the bananas and mash them with a fork.
  • In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and chocolate sprinkles.
  • In a second bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, oil, and mashed banana until frothy.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, this will make the muffins dense.
  • Divide the batter evenly among the muffin liners and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool slightly. Decorate as desired, we suggest with a dollop of Nutella and a banana slice.
